Demand the resignation of Punjab and Karnataka education ministers
The Issue
To:
- The Chief Minister of Punjab, Shri Bhagwant Mann
- The Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri Siddaramaiah
- State Departments of Education and Recruitment Boards, Punjab and Karnataka
Subject: Demand for the Immediate Resignation of Education Leadership over Repeated Examination Paper Leaks and Systemic Negligence
We, the undersigned students, parents, educators, and concerned citizens, person of indian origin formally demand the immediate resignation of Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains and Karnataka’s primary/higher education minister Madhu Bangarappa
Recent systemic failures, compromised recruitment tests, and repeated examination paper leaks have severely broken public trust. Education is a fundamental right and a gateway to the future; when the administrative machinery charged with conducting fair exams fails, it destroys the hopes of millions of hardworking youth.
Key Demands
- Immediate Ministerial Resignation: Step down from office to take direct moral and administrative accountability for the recurring breaches in the state's examination sanctity.
- Transparent, Time-Bound Investigation: Launch an independent judicial inquiry to trace the root causes of recent leaks within state boards and recruitment centers.
- Strict Legal Action: Prosecute all individuals, syndicates, and officials found complicit in facilitating or covering up exam compromises, regardless of political or bureaucratic rank.
- Reforms and Restitution: Implement absolute digital and procedural transparency for future tests, alongside fair re-examinations, cost waivers, and age relaxations for affected aspirants.
