This petition is deeply personal to us, as we believe in the importance of integrity, ethics, and trustworthiness in our educational system. We are gravely concerned about the charges against Mr. Leonardo Marchetta, a member of the Old Bridge Board of Education. These charges cast a shadow over his integrity and decision-making abilities.

As members of this community, we entrust our children's education to individuals who are expected to abide by the Code of Ethics for School Board Members. It appears that Mr. Marchetta has not lived up to these expectations.

Our concerns extend beyond personal disappointment; they touch on issues critical for maintaining public trust in our educational institutions. The actions attributed to Mr. Marchetta cause us to question his ability to make decisions that best serve our students and community.

We believe it is essential for those entrusted with such significant responsibility over our children's education be held accountable when they fail in their duties or violate ethical standards.

Therefore, we call on Mr. Leonardo Marchetta to resign from his position on the Old Bridge Board of Education immediately - for the sake of transparency, accountability and most importantly - for our children's future education.
