Canada Post Corporation has experienced dire consequences and seen a significant loss in profits under the questionable leadership of Mr. Doug Ettinger. What was once our much-relied-upon national postal service has witnessed its largest financial downturn since its establishment as a crown corporation.

During Mr. Ettinger's tenure, not only have we lost many profitable contracts, but a lack of transparency and possible deceit has become common practice. A glaring example is the claim of massive losses during 2024's contract negotiations with front-line workers, which was suspiciously used to negotiate on less favorable terms for our hardworking employees. The leadership under Mr. Ettinger has consistently misled the public about its financial state, shaking our trust and faith in this national institution.

It is unacceptable for such public organizations to be led under a cloud of mistrust and financial instability. Therefore, we call upon the board of Canada Post Corporation to demand the immediate resignation of Doug Ettinger. His departure will mark the first step in restoring integrity, trust and transparency to our national postal service, and set Canada Post back on the path of profitability and reliability.
