I live in Brunswick, a community that takes a firm stand against fascism and conducts itself with the highest level of respect for diversity and human dignity. Due to recent events, we believe the mural of Elon Musk on Percy Street is unacceptable. This distresses many residents as Elon Musk is accused of harbouring fascist beliefs. 

While freedom of expression is respected in Brunswick, we draw a distinctive line when it comes to promoting or celebrating individuals who are believed to carry fascist ideologies. If we allow this mural to stand, are we unknowingly endorsing his alleged beliefs? Musk has frequently found himself in controversy over his insensitive and contentious remarks, causing widespread concern [source: multiple reputable news outlets]. It is our responsibility as a community to maintain an environment that aligns with our values.
