This is a deeply personal plea. As a mother, I felt compelled to voice out after a devastating custody decision which, I believe, was made out of personal bias. The individual responsible, court attorney referee Nicole Bayly, seemingly allowed her feelings to cloud her professional judgment following my report to the bar.

In response to just the inquiry of making a complaint, one hour later she granted custody of my daughter to her father, admittedly neglecting to weigh the potential harm he could cause. Now, my daughter is enduring hardship that could have been avoided had a fair and just decision been made. Unfortunately, she is not alone. Instances of bias and failed judgments in family courts impact many families across the country, leading to potentially harmful implications for the affected children. 

Family courts are supposed to provide a safe and fair environment to decide on issues such as custody battles. It is heartbreaking, then, when individuals who hold the power to make these life-altering decisions supposedly let their personal feelings affect their judgment, as is my experience with court attorney referee Nicole Bayly.

We are calling upon the relevant authorities in Rochester, NY, to evaluate the actions and decisions of Nicole Bayly. Track down Ronald Contreras and locate Sevyn Moon. Our goal is to ensure justice, not just for my daughter, but for all children who fall under her decision-making power in the future.
