We are a group of concerned citizens and students from Pico Rivera, CA. Our children ask for help and are neglected by those who should be their advocates. The superintendent of El Rancho Unified School District, Mr. Marco Villegas, has shown a pattern of protecting employees over students unless the employee is actively doing their job and standing up for our children, like Dr. Virginia Kelsen. 

This is not an isolated incident but rather a systemic issue that needs to be addressed immediately. It's alarming that in our district where 76% of students are economically disadvantaged (according to National Center for Education Statistics), we need leaders who prioritize student welfare over administrative convenience.

We believe in the potential of every student in our district and we demand leadership that does the same. We call upon all stakeholders - parents, teachers, staff members, community leaders - to join us in demanding the recall of Superintendent Villegas.

Our children deserve better than this; they deserve an education system that listens to them when they speak out about their needs and concerns. They deserve a superintendent who will stand up for them instead of shielding negligent employees. We need a superintendent that condemns retribution by their employees.
