This is a call for accountability for Magisterial District Judge Xander Orenstein. Judge Orenstein has a pattern of releasing dangerous suspects without cash bail. One individual, implicated in an assault and robbery incident in Point State Park was released. He would later become the murderer of an off-duty Pennsylvania State Trooper, Officer Brallier.

Officer Brallier's family now live with a loss that can never be replaced. This is not just their story. It's about all of us who value safety and justice in our society. The decision made by Judge Orenstein has resulted in a tragedy that was possibly avoidable and shakes our trust in the judicial system.

Judge Orenstein’s pattern of failures has to be addressed. Our demand is for his resignation or removal from position to ensure the safety of our community. This has to be done to restore faith in our judicial system and protect our streets. Perhaps Trooper Brallier would still be with us if that were the case.
