As a deeply concerned member of the Hannibal, MO community, I am calling for immediate action against what I perceive as an abuse of power in our public school district. Susan Johnson, who was reinstated as Superintendent by our current school board members, has shown unprofessional conduct and insubordination towards those she is supposed to serve. Her actions have not only affected me personally but have also impacted teachers and parents within our community.

Susan Johnson's approach to leadership has been dictatorial rather than collaborative. She has targeted teachers instead of supporting them and failed to back parents in their efforts to provide a better education for their children. This behavior undermines the very essence of what our public schools should represent - a nurturing environment where every child can thrive and feel safe.

The school board members who reinstated Susan Johnson are equally culpable. By allowing her return despite her previous insubordinate behavior, they have shown disregard for the welfare of our schools and students.
