I am a member of the La Verne community and have seen first hand how the La Verne Girls Softball Association (LVGSA) has been badly mismanaged. This is a heartbreaking problem that is diminishing the value of our girls' Spring Season and it is a time we change the Board to save our season.

The current LVGSA board has consistently proven itself incapable of fulfilling the transparent and responsive leadership necessary in managing the league. Official deadlines are missed regularly, organizational systems are chaotic, and most concerningly, there has been zero accountability for transactions. It is hard for us to ignore the multiple red flags indicating an alarming lack of transparency, primarily as it pertains to financial transactions. 

Apart from the monetary inconsistencies, this situation has resulted in our girls and the entire La Verne community being misled. Our trust has been squandered by the current board through their repeated deceit—a far cry from the values of honesty, community, and integrity we believe should guide the LVGSA.

The board is also under investigation by La Verne Police Department. That is another reason why we demand the immediate resignation of the current LVGSA board and prompt re-elections. This is a critical step to save our league's spring season and restore the missing trust among us all. To be noted, some board members are new. However, all members should resign as the board should be elected by parents of LVGSA.
