This is my second and final time at Tomorrowland, and last year, we faced a heartbreaking moment when the mainstage caught fire, forcing the festival to abruptly end. We all felt that loss, especially since many of us travel from all across the globe, sometimes on tight budgets, saving hard-earned money for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Tomorrowland is not just any festival—it's a gathering of diverse cultures, a celebration of unity through music. The fireworks have always been the heartbeat of this incredible event, a climatic symbol that unites us all under one sky. The beauty and emotion in those moments live on in our memories forever.

Safety should always be a priority, and we truly respect that; however, we believe there's a meaningful path forward. We are urging the City of Boom to engage in constructive talks with Tomorrowland to explore safer yet equally mesmerizing alternatives to bring back the fireworks.

Having experienced the profound sense of community and belonging that Tomorrowland fosters, I know firsthand that attendees deserve the full magic that the festival promises. Other festivals around the world have successfully implemented firework shows with enhanced safety measures. Solutions such as using more advanced pyrotechnic technology, increasing on-site emergency controls, or even opting for drone light shows could be considered.
