Demand That Trump Fix His Clear Cutting Disaster

The Issue

While leaders and businesses in the Washington, DC metro area are embracing the economic and environmental benefits of green landscaping, low impact design and river-friendly growth, Donald Trump showed how out of touch he is by unnecessarily destroying one and a half miles of trees.

This action degrades water quality for outdoor enthusiasts who fish, paddle, and run and bike along the Potomac.  It also negatively affects the five million local residents whose drinking water comes straight from the Potomac.

Despite our calls to replant the trees, five years later the shoreline sits bare, slowly eroding and washing harmful sediment into the Potomac.   We all have a stake in protecting our trees and our drinking water supply.  We hope you will join us in demanding he replant trees to rectify his sub-par environmental approach.
