A single tenant, in Cross Street Market pays $9,800 a month to Caves Valley Partners along with 16 other tenants paying monthly rents to CVP as well. As Landlord, Caves Valley Partners has been collecting these merchant/tenant rents for several months and as Landlord and in conjunction with the property owner (The City of Baltimore) are required to maintain and ensure the building they lease is compliant with Baltimore City Heath, Fire, Safety, Building and Zoning Codes. This petition is to demand that Caves Valley Partners and the property owner (The City of Baltimore) begin immediate efforts to bring the current structure to full compliance with all related Baltimore City Codes and to ask the City of Baltimore to oversee and enforce landlord compliance immediately without undue hardship or suffering to the tenants of Cross Street Market under lease..
