A quarter of a thousand signatures!

Yesterday (8th September), we hit the quarter-thousand signature milestone, and every signature which has come in since I unlocked the page has come in naturally and organically without me having to promote the campaign.

According to my petition dashboard, my signatures have been coming directly from my email updates with subscribed users forwarding the emails to new users.

My CSV spreadsheet data shows that all my latest signatures have been coming from Londoners (exactly what is needed in order for our campaign to win).

             Key dates:

• Petition launched - 9th February
• 100 signatures - 20th February 
• 200 signatures - 20th July 
• 250 signatures - 8th September 

We will have a slow cruise towards our next milestone of 300 signatures and have been gaining signatures at a rate of roughly 3 knots (signatures), in recent days and have reached this milestone despite having to close the petition several times (much like Teddington Lock), throughout the course of our campaign.

Unless a catastrophe happens and the boat capsizes, there is no plan to close this petition any time soon!

You all probably know boats measure their speed in knots!
