Born and raised in Pennsylvania, I've always believed in the democratic essence of our state. However, witnessing Senator John Fetterman's recent actions has left me disheartened and concerned. Senator Fetterman has demonstrated a disturbing lack of knowledge about American history, and his actions have been far from brave or democratic.

His alliances with a convicted felon and tacit approval of his  passing pardons for parties involved in illegal activities point to a misuse of power. These actions are a blatant disregard for the responsibility entrusted to him by the Pennsylvania citizens. 

What troubles us most is his unwillingness to justify or give account for these actions by interacting with us, the voters. His failure to schedule town hall meetings and converse with his constituents is equivalent to turning his back on us, the very people who entrusted him with power.

Therefore, we demand Senator Fetterman schedule face-to-face town hall meetings in at least half of Pennsylvania counties within the next 30 days. He should be willing to defend his actions, words, and decisions before the people who are directly affected by them. This is an appeal to Senator Fetterman's democratic duty to provide his constituents with explanations and reasons for his actions.
