Demand Saudi Arabia to Take Action Against Israel and the US to Secure Palestinian Rights

The Issue

We call on Saudi Arabia to take immediate and decisive action to protect the rights and future of Palestinians in Gaza and West Bank. In Gaza, Palestinians face the grave threat of ethnic cleansing and forced expulsion, driven by a US-backed initiative. In the West Bank, Israeli attacks are becoming more severe. Saudi Arabia must act now to secure a Palestinian state ending the decades-long occupation, prevent displacement, and support Gaza’s rehabilitation.

Saudi Arabia has demonstrated its influence on the global stage before, leveraging oil policies to exert pressure on world powers. However, despite the immense suffering of Palestinians and the ongoing humanitarian crisis, it continues to prioritise economic and diplomatic ties over Palestinian rights. It has even facilitated Israeli commerce by allowing the bypassing of Red Sea blockades and engaging in military transactions. This complicity cannot continue.

Signatories of this petition pledge to boycott Saudi Arabia—including travel, business, and participation in Vision 2030—until it takes concrete action against both Israel and the United States to prevent further violations of Palestinian rights and ensure the establishment of a just and viable post-war solution.

Specifically, we demand that Saudi Arabia, represented in the UK by HRH Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud:

  • Impose oil sanctions on the US and Israel until there is a binding commitment to Palestinian sovereignty and an end to forced displacement efforts.
  • Cut all economic ties with Israel, including halting the transport of Israeli goods through Saudi land, sea, or airspace.
  • Prohibit both the US and Israel from using Saudi airspace for the transportation of arms or goods aiding occupation efforts.
  • Advocate publicly and diplomatically for maintaining Al-Aqsa Mosque’s status under Jordanian custodianship or transferring it to Palestinian authority.

Saudi Arabia has worked to reshape its global image and attract tourism and investments. By ignoring the plight of Palestinians, it risks losing the Western audience it is so eager to impress. We refuse to support this vision of progress until Saudi Arabia fulfils its moral obligation to oppose oppression and ethnic cleansing in Palestine.

We stand for justice and humanity. The Saudi government must act now, or face a growing wave of voices who will reject its ambitions for the future. Stand with us by signing this petition.
