The Issue

I am a citizen whose constitutional rights were egregiously violated by the district attorney's office. Mistakes happen in every field, yet the gravity of their blunders - and the subsequent refusal to right the wrongs - warrants immediate and swift action.

Far beyond my personal experience, reports of persistent and unchecked misconduct by the District Attorney have been circulating. Research has shown that prosecutorial misconduct contributes significantly to wrongful convictions, which should concern each one of us deeply, as justice should stand firmly on the side of the innocent, not fortify the authority in power (Source: National Registry of Exonerations, 2020).

This is not a question of a single error; it is a question of a pattern of behavior that disregards our rights and undermines our trust - and the essence of our democratic society at large. It is a demand for a judiciary that reflects and respects the principles upon which our nation was founded.

Therefore, we call on the necessary authorities to review and hold the District Attorney accountable for their misconduct, requesting that they voluntarily step down from their position. Let this be a clarion call for justice and responsibility, upholding the integrity of our legal system. Please sign the petition to stand with us in sending this powerful message.
