We are resident of Devanagonthi, Bangalore Rural District, Karnataka, compelled by the crippling circumstance of persistent power cuts to pen this plea to Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM), Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL), and the respected leaders of our state, the Chief Minister and Home Minister of Karnataka, Member of the Legislative Assembly - Hsokote, Member of Parliament- Chikkaballapura as well as to the members of the Panchayat, Taluka Panchayat, and Jilla Panchayat. 

The once sporadic power cuts have escalated, becoming alarmingly frequent - almost every 30 minutes - paralyzing ordinary life and impeding work. This has not only disrupted domestic harmony but has also had a severe impact on our electronic equipment, threatening the longevity of our essential appliances such as refrigerators, televisions, and computers.

Being at the mercy of unreliable power supply has caused profound mental stress, a sentiment shared by many others in our community as well. This has made daily routines, work commitments, and even recreational activities very challenging to sustain. The constant uncertainty and the subsequent interruption of our lives cast a shadow of constant worry and frustration, which is detrimental to our wellbeing.

An unreliable power supply is not only irksome but stands in stark contrast to our right to infrastructure that aids in our holistic development - the dream of a developed India that we all share. In the digital age, where work, education, and essential services largely depend on uninterrupted power, the persistent power cuts in Kaneka Cross, Devanagonthi, Karnataka threaten our progress, livelihood, and wellbeing.

This incessant torment must be addressed on an urgent basis. We urge the authorities to ensure a reliable power supply that warrants our growth and prosperity. Let us not be left in the dark anymore. It is time to shine a light on this issue.
