When I was taken into police custody I told him I didn't want to do my fingerprints in an officer had pulled his taser and pointed it at me and threatened to shoot me with it if I didn't cooperate which was against their policy as well as I asked for medical attention so they can monitor the assault that I had received from that officer that night and instead they threw me in jail without being checked first to where I was in another fight which covered the officers initial violent assault on me it's a loophole to bypass his accountability by refusing medical attention and allowing injuries to come from another source to cover up his assault and told they can't help me because it might tamper with the case well I think my rights were well violated way before for them to step in and help or at least investigate on their part if there is any act of an assault by an officer they should have to step in and investigate not just say because an officer refused to give his name and badge number for me to give them they cannot step in and help but contact them later on my matters dealt with and they'll investigate now I'm living with serious injuries it's hard to sleep at night I take Tylenol like crazy because of my head I get headaches all the time it's changed me from being able to live properly because I can't handle too much chaos too much noise too much dog barking all because of a lot of head trauma all at one time and because they refuse me that initial medical attention that officer gets a free pass that's not okay more needs to be done for justice and accountability for the public for the people not just doing this for myself I'm doing this for everyone who has a situation like this and these officers get a free pass to do as they want wherever they want whenever they want just like that officer said to me that night I'm from peel region we do things different around here when he was nowhere near peel region like he was a cowboy a rogue police officer like the law didn't apply to him and because you have a name for yourself your word don't mean nothing they don't listen to you that's not okay whether you did something or didn't do something wrong people need to be listened to things need to be done things can't go on like this I hope we can make some change so we can all live better in society and maybe things can get a little better between police and citizens anyways I just wanted to say thank you again to everybody who signs this petition who wants to stand up to see change for the better not just for ourselves but for everyone thank you again that means a lot
