Demand our elected officials participate in March 15 Town Hall in Greenville, SC

The Issue

It's not something from a dystopian movie. It's a reality that is rocking us - our families, our friends, our neighbors - to our cores. We are watching as local nonprofits have their work impacted by disruption in their federal grant money. Some of our neighbors and friends have already lost their jobs or been furloughed. And we know this is just the tip of the iceberg.

As resident of Greenville and Spartanburg (SC) counties, we believe that our representatives - Senators Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott, and Rep. William Timmons (SC-4) - must face us to answer our questions, and address our concerns. There must be transparent communication about the obliteration of government agencies at the hands of an unelected individual with no security clearance. And we want to know what they assess the impact will be on various elements of your communities - businesses, individuals, non profits, schools and more.

We demand that our federal officials agree to attend a town hall scheduled for March 15 at the Hughes Library and answer to their voters.

Your signature here is not merely a name; it's a voice calling out for accountability and answers. Let's remind Graham, Scott and Timmons that we are the people they have sworn to serve and represent. Sign the petition today and make your voice heard.
