My son, along with over thirty other students, deserve access to the best education possible. This level of education is not available in the Norwich Public Schools system but is accessible at ISAAC Middle School. However, transportation remains a significant barrier for these students who are eager to learn and grow. 

The parents of these students are taxpayers in Norwich, CT and should see their tax dollars being invested back into their children's educational opportunities. It's disheartening that while students from nearby towns have access to this quality education due to provided transportation, our children are left behind.

According to the National Center for Safe Routes to School, lack of transportation is one of the leading barriers preventing students from attending schools that could better serve their needs (source: National Center for Safe Routes). In a country where every child has a right to quality education irrespective of their geographical location or socio-economic status, it's unjustifiable that our children can't access this due to lack of transport.

We urge the Norwich Board of Education - don't let distance be an obstacle in our children’s path towards better educational opportunities. Please provide necessary transportation facilities for all those attending ISAAC Middle School from Norwich. Let us invest in our future by investing in our children today.
