Like many others, I am repeatedly met with devastatingly high monthly payments to National Grid. Despite being enrolled in their budget billing plan, I can truthfully affirm that the costs have become unbearable. For those not on this plan, I can only imagine it gets worse. It's become clear that the delivery service cost routinely surpasses the supply services fees, an alarming trend that has shown no sign of slowing down.

According to a report by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), residential electricity prices have been on an upward trajectory, increasing by nearly 3% from 2019 to 2020. Alarmingly, this trend shows no sign of abating and places a financial strain on families and individuals.

I implore the National Grid to review and reevaluate their billing structure. Reduction of both delivery and supply service fees is not just a request, it is a necessity for their customers, many of whom are grappling with economic hardship in uncertain times.
