The petition stems from a personal experience of living at 2039 Blackrock Ave, a location currently deprived of Verizon's and other affordable cable, TV and internet services/providers. This shortcoming is cutting us off from affordable and quality telecom services that Verizon and others boasts of offering to its customers. Our neighborhood is being left behind, hindering both our relaxation and work-from-home practices. 

According to the Federal Communications Commission, as of 2019, 21.3 million Americans still lack a wired broadband connection of at least 25 Mbps, and Verizon could wield a significant role in bridging this gap [FCC]. Price is a barrier for many people. In 2020, a study showed that 43% of non-broadband users said cost was the primary reason they did not have broadband at home, with the average monthly cost of a broadband internet connection in the U.S. hovering around $60 [Pew Research Center].

Every individual deserves access to these necessary services for personal and professional growth. Let's call on Rraci Realty to allow multiple and affordable internet, cable and tv service providers to 2039 Blackrock Ave. It's about time that every resident got affordable options that they deserve and need.
