Rusty Herr and Ethan Wentworth are two men from York and Lancaster, PA who have been unjustly jailed by the Pennsylvania State Veterinary Board.  Per editorial by Sherry Bunting, “Their crime? Performing ultrasounds for small local farmers without a license. This enforcement action has led to an absurd situation where the state is essentially considering pregnancy a disease.

The most concerning part of this situation is that these men have not seen a judge, they don't have a docket number or had any chance for bail. The warrants for their arrest did not come from a court but rather from bureaucratic entities that are not actual courts - the Pennsylvania State Veterinary Board. This gross violation of their constitutional rights cannot be ignored.

This petition seeks justice for Rusty Herr and Ethan Wentworth who were simply trying to help small local farmers in our community. We demand that they be given their rightful opportunity to appear before a judge and defend themselves against these charges.
