I am sorry for not posting in a few weeks but I needed to take a break from this issue.  I'm overwhelmed to report that the Child Victim's Act was signed into Law on 4/11/23  (https://www.baltimoresun.com/ticker/bs-md-pol-child-act-child-victims-act-signed-20230411-6bh2xtoccbhjndfga3lgkgpsse-story.html  This will provide justice to Maryland survivors, provide protection to Maryland children and have the financial burden shifted from tax payers to thos that perpetrated these horrific acts.

Thank you to all the people who signed up to support this effort and get this bill passed into law and especially those that petitioned legislators to make this happen
