The hearings for the senate bill SB686 is coming up this coming Thursday 2/23/2023.  If you are interested in submitting favorable testimony or oral testimony, you can find detailed instructions here. Note that each person must generate an account at the Maryland General Assembly web site and then submit a PDF version of your testimony, the day before the hearing (Not before and not after).  The hearing for cross filed house bill SB1, is a week later on 3/2/2023.  Any testimony for the house must be submitted TWO days before the hearing (Not before and not after). Instructions for doing so are at the same site as the senate bill. 

PS The current version of each bill needs modifications (in different ways). Amendments will be submitted on the day of the hearings and they will be identical
