The Issue

My son, Kaiden Edwards, along with our concerned neighbour’s, took a brave step when they broke into a neighbours house upon a major concern for the welfare of a dog. They were desperately attempting to save the dog, named Luna, from a dire situation of neglect. In this heart-wrenching discovery, they also found a cat who, tragically, had already lost its life. The scenes within the house were shocking and unbearable, reflecting an appalling level of mistreatment and negligence.

We cannot stand by and let these horrors go unchecked. The RSPCA, as a leading animal welfare charity, is in a powerful position to act by involving the police and pushing for prosecution against the abuser. This situation is not an isolated incident but reflects a broader problem in our society that turns a blind eye to animal suffering far too often. Did you know that according to the RSPCA, there are more than a million incidents of animal neglect and abuse reported each year in the UK? These numbers are unacceptable and must serve as a wake-up call.

By pressing charges and securing a prosecutable case, we give a voice to Luna and the deceased cat, as well as countless others who cannot speak for themselves. The abuser must be held accountable to prevent further tragedies and to reaffirm the societal standards that protect vulnerable animals.

We are calling on all compassionate individuals to stand with us in this fight. It's crucial that our legal system demonstrates that it will not tolerate such cruelty. Let us press the RSPCA to fulfil their mission by taking immediate and decisive action.

Please sign this petition demanding justice for Luna and the deceased cat, and to show that together, we stand against animal abuse. Let’s urge the RSPCA to do the right thing and ensure that justice is served. Your signature can be the spark that ignites change for Luna, the deceased cat, and all animals in need of protection. Together, we can make a difference. Sign now to join the cause.
