Joby Weeks, a loving father and Bitcoin pioneer, is currently in a battle with the US government in an undeserved and undeniably unjust struggle for justice. For the past 6 years, Joby has lived his life on house arrest. Before being finally released on bail, he spent 11 agonising months incarcerated without being convicted of a crime all because of frivolous charges brought on by the DOJ in 2019 related to bitcoin mining. He was denied bail, a trial and denied his constitutional right to due process. He has been on pre trial house incarceration ever since. Meaning he can’t go anywhere or do anything. The evil persecutors from the District of New Jersey have denied him his right to use a phone and computer. He can’t have a job, make money, use crypto, have a bank account, can’t have any friends over, can’t go to church or weddings or funerals of family members and friends. Can’t go to the gym or even go outside to get sunshine and fresh air etc. While his young daughter was learning to walk and talk he was being bounced around the country from state to state to state and jail to jail to jail!  The government has tried to put him back in jail 7 times since being granted bail. They have stolen millions of dollars from him without due process and have kept him from sharing his story in a court setting. He’s been denied his right to face his accusers. It’s serious lawfare you would expect from communist China or Russia. It’s happening here in the USA too! He fired his lawyers and is fighting back pro se! The government has not only tarnished his reputation, with horrible untrue articles spread online, they have also seized all of his assets, forcing him into a corner devoid of all but the faintest glimmers of justice. This illicit persecution and legal lawfare against Joby comes with an insidious price. He is denied his First Amendment rights, banned from even giving interviews because it challenges the governments false narrative. This harsh reality has been his existence for 6 long and painful years, guided by the suffocating hand of an injustice system that should protect, not oppress. The continuous attempts to throw him back into jail only underline the escalating urgency to intervene and rectify these unjust actions by the Department of Injustice. This needs to end now! We are not asking for sympathy; we are demanding justice. The dismissal of this case would not only liberate Joby, it would also serve as a powerful reminder that the fight for justice remains vibrant and alive even in the face of adversity.
