His interracial son, Jeremy, claims self-defense, a claim initially supported by his Caucasian mother, who has a documented felony drug history involving methamphetamine. Given the conflicting accounts surrounding my brother’s death, the circumstances of the shooting, and concerns about possible connections between the family and the local police department, our family is demanding a thorough, impartial investigation.
