Demand Justice for Homeowners with Faulty IPLEX Piping

The issue

I am a homeowner in Western Australia, and like many others, my house has leaking/bursting IPLEX water piping. This is not just an inconvenience; it's a threat to the safety and security of our homes. Faulty piping can lead to severe water damage, mould growth, and even structural issues over time. This also causes anguish and paranoia as the leaks can happen at any time, any day 24/7, 365 days a year. You just never know when you arrive home if there will be water everywhere, or ceilings collapsed.

IPLEX pipes have been used in the construction of homes across Western Australia since the 1980s upto 2023. However, these pipes have been found to be prone to cracking and leaking over time, due to either manufacturing issues or poor installation (To be determined).

Thousands of homeowners are now facing costly repairs due to this issue, as well as putting lives in danger due to water ingress into electrical fittings, sockets and light switches.

We demand that those responsible for manufacturing these faulty pipes and the companies who installed them, be held accountable. We call on the Western Australian government to investigate this matter thoroughly and provide compensation for affected homeowners.

This is not just about financial reimbursement—it's about justice. It's about holding companies accountable when their products fail us. It's about ensuring that every homeowner can feel safe and secure in their own home.

Please join us in demanding justice for homeowners with faulty IPLEX piping by signing this petition today.
