The Issue

Last week, over 150 innocent dogs were rescued from 10 locations across Dillon and Marion counties in South Carolina, where they were found suffering from untreated injuries and scarring. Clear signs of brutal abuse from dogfighting operations.

These dogs, some of whom were still puppies, have endured unimaginable pain and torment, and it is only thanks to the heroic efforts of the ASPCA and South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) that they are now receiving critical care.

The individuals responsible for this disgusting practice must be found and fully prosecuted.

Dogfighting is not just illegal, it is an act of unfathomable cruelty that causes lifelong trauma to innocent animals. These perpetrators must face the full extent of the law, and we must ensure that no one can get away with this kind of abuse.

We urge law enforcement agencies to continue their work in investigating and bringing those responsible for dogfighting operations to justice.

But we also call on the public to help expose those who are part of these criminal networks. If you know anything, or suspect any form of animal cruelty, speak up.

We cannot allow these atrocities to continue in the shadows.

Join us in demanding that the individuals involved in these heartless acts of violence be found, charged, and prosecuted. No animal should ever have to endure such pain. It’s time for justice.
