Demand Justice for Amy Bradley
The Issue
Demand Justice for AMY Bradley
Urge the FBI and the U.S. Department of Justice to Use Every Available Tool to Find the Truth
On March 24, 1998, 23-year-old AMY Bradley disappeared from Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas as the ship approached Curaçao.
She was never seen again.
For nearly three decades, AMY’s disappearance has remained one of America’s most haunting unsolved missing person cases. Despite an extensive investigation, reported sightings, international attention, and years of unanswered questions, no one has ever been held accountable.
The FBI continues to classify AMY’s disappearance as an active investigation and still offers a reward for information that could help solve the case.
But time is not on our side.
Witnesses grow older. Memories fade. Evidence can disappear. Every year that passes makes it more difficult to uncover the truth.
If there is still evidence to be found, witnesses to be questioned, or federal crimes to be investigated, that work should happen now—not years from now.
That is why we are respectfully calling on the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the United States Department of Justice to use every lawful investigative tool available, including consideration of convening a federal grand jury.
A federal grand jury has the authority to compel testimony under oath, subpoena records and other evidence, and determine whether the facts support federal criminal charges.
This petition does not accuse any specific person of a crime.
It does not ask investigators to reach a predetermined conclusion.
It asks only that every available legal tool be used to pursue the truth wherever the evidence leads.
After nearly 30 years, the American people deserve to know that every credible lead has been thoroughly examined.
If the evidence supports criminal charges, those responsible should finally be brought to justice.
If the evidence does not support criminal charges, the public can have greater confidence that every reasonable investigative avenue has been exhausted.
No matter what happened to AMY Bradley, she deserves the truth.
Her family deserves answers.
The public deserves confidence that justice has been pursued without fear, favor, or limitation.
Justice should never have an expiration date.
