On the afternoon of May 31, 2026, my brother fell victim to a brutal and senseless act of violence during a road rage incident. While on the road, his path was blocked by two individuals, leading to a tragic confrontation. One of these men got out of their vehicle and engaged in a fight with my brother, compelling him to exit his own vehicle. As the altercation escalated, the other man emerged from their car and shot my brother 11 times. Even when my brother was unconscious and bleeding on the ground, the shooter heartlessly continued firing at him.

This despicable act not only shattered our family but also took away a beloved son, brother, and friend. Moises Mora, only 22 years old and Daniel mora of 19 years old  was involved in this heinous act that should be considered a capital murder due to its deliberate and cold-blooded nature. These men do not deserve the possibility of bail; their actions reflect a blatant disregard for human life, and justice must be served to deter such acts in the future.

According to research, the rate of road rage-related incidents has been escalating, with increasing numbers of fatalities each year. The FBI reports a significant rise in gun violence, making it imperative to address such cases with utmost seriousness. This is not just a personal tragedy; it's a societal issue that requires urgent attention from our legal system to prevent similar occurrences.
