In a small town in Texas, my daughter and I have been thrust into a nightmare of legal injustice. It all began when an altercation occurred involving my mom, her grandmother, who attacked my minor daughter. For defending my child, I now face charges of aggravated assault on the elderly. However, the situation is far more complex and deeply troubling.

The 2026 year was suppose to be focused of my Babygirl graduating and all the celebrations and good times for her&her classmates making lasting memories of the final year for her in this chapter of her life with the promises of what the next chapter has in store with her going off to college to earn a degree so she has a solid occupation to have to fuel the many years of being an adult with some stability beneath her feet. Unfortunately with this whole mess that's been a unwelcomed shadow of uncertainty that's hovered over us it's taken a toll on us mentally&emotionally and has drained&stolen the brightness&joy out of my Babygirl's senior year,which makes me sad and highly determined to make what should of never gone to the extreme levels that March 23,2025 reached all because the adults that gave permission for a birthday party with alcohol and minors without any supervision from these adults resulted into a physical and verbal confrontation between my babygirl and her grandmother because the curfew time that was put on the party was not taken seriously since all the parties prior to this one never had a time limit and when that happened that's when an adult showed their self making a scene yelling at those that were there to leave immediately with no regard to the state of mind or if these minors might physically need a safe ride home or to call someone to come give them a safe ride home. As soon as the house was clear leaving only my child and her grandma that's when tables were flipped over,decorations ripped off the wall and the physical attempts to drag my child from one house to the house next door and that's when my babygirl called me crying telling me to please come get her because she was scared and didn't want to be there due to what was happening to her. I could hear all the commotion and how my mom(the grandma) was telling my child to hang up the phone and to take her no good a** and go to the other house at one point since my child wasn't doing what she was being told I heard my babygirl say"Gran Gran please stop,please your hurting me!" I was already on my way there and my phone dies right after I hear this,then my car over heats and dies leaving me walking from north 7th to north 13th after leaving my house on the south side of town. When I arrived I go to the house the party had been since I saw a truck was leaving from there as I entered noticing all the wreckage I continued out the back door thru the gate that joins the 2yards saw one of the doors were open as I'm getting closer I can hear my babygirl screaming so I go in and that's when I see my mom attacking my child I immediately push her off my babygirl and she lands in a sitting position on the bed bouncing right up yelling to my child "tell your mom I wasn't trying to choke you!" Then she starts yelling at me to get the F**k out her house and to take my babygirl with me. I let her know that's what I'm here to do,I turn slightly to my babygirl to let her know to get whatever was needed so we could leave but while I'm talking out the corner of my eye I see my mom with her arm raised,her hand in a fist so I turn back towards her just in enough time to avoid her hit and to prevent my mom from going after my babygirl I hit her once in the face which makes her fall to the floor right in front of my child who is frozen in fear and crying not knowing what to do. This is when my mom's husband comes into the room yelling to me "I'm going to F**k you up!"swinging both his arms towards me so here I go moving around trying not to get hit again from this man and it goes thru my mind get closer to him not further that way he can't hit you,so that's what I do and that's when I get a clear shot at him to the face twice which makes him stop. There is so much more to this with the police,me getting arrested,my babygirl getting a ticket&letting the officer know that she didn't feel safe,the so called victims refusing medical attention and so much more throughout the end of 2025 up to the present day of 2026. I've got indicated with no investigation being done,with no statements from my child or myself being taken but when I take my babygirl and myself to the police department to give our statements verbally and in writing, while trying for the 3rd time to file my own charges of assault and child abuse and was denied again,with the officer saying how he was going to make sure our statements went into my case file. Well guess what wasn't part of the discovery from my case file not our statements just a police report that has the majority of events not in it plus the officer couldn't even get the type of ticket right that was given to my child along with some false actions that I supposably did and some critical documentation of putting me into a restraint device that took 4handcuffs to secure me since my arms didn't reach the position needed along with being made to remove all my clothing before forcing me into the device that I was left in for hours right up til I was sent to see the judge that set my bail who informed me that I had no rights as long as I was in jail. These are just a few of the on going ways I've been treated& forced to endure from professionals that couldn't care less about the rights of my child and myself that have not been up held or given any serious thought on by any of the people that work for the state of Texas or how Texas has procedures on how to handle the job they said a oath to up hold all Texas Laws&the Constitution.

When the police were called to the scene, the officers made decisions based on personal biases rather than the undeniable facts. They ignored the reality of the situation, including my daughter’s rights and mine. To make matters worse, the officer in charge attempted to intimidate my daughter into changing her story, blatantly disregarding her account and the genuine fear she felt about remaining in a hostile environment. It breaks my heart to see my child being subjected to such manipulations, especially when she expressed feeling unsafe.

This gross mishandling of our case is not just an isolated incident; it’s a systemic issue that needs immediate attention. Our rights to due process and fair treatment are being violated, and we are being denied access to justice. This is particularly disturbing in a small town where resources and external oversight are limited, making us even more vulnerable to judicial injustice.

We call upon the authorities to thoroughly investigate this case with fairness and integrity. We need accountability from the law enforcement officers involved, and we demand that our legal rights be fully respected and upheld.

Our plea is for a just, impartial review of the facts, and ultimately, for justice to prevail, ensuring the safety and welfare of my daughter.
