A Mother’s Decade of Silence: The Urgent Search for Matthew Isaiah Moldovan

For eleven years, Elisheva Grinberg has lived a nightmare that no parent should endure. In 2014, her infant son, Elyahu Avraham Grinberg was taken from her in the United Kingdom. Since that day, Elisheva has traversed continents, knocked on countless doors, and fought through a web of deception to bring her son home to his Jewish family in Manchester.

A Web of Deception and Fear

The circumstances of Eliyahu’s disappearance are marked by allegations of fraud and domestic abuse. According to Elisheva, the child’s father—known to her then as Raoul Santana, but later identified as Raoul Ngapa Herbin —utilized various identities and allegedly used fraudulent EU passports.

Elisheva describes a period of extreme vulnerability where she was pressured to leave her home and subjected to physical violence. In the chaos, Matthew was taken. "A criminal should not be allowed near a child," Elisheva states, noting that Ngapa has no legal parental responsibility and is not named on Eliyahu’s UK or Romanian birth certificates.

The Exhaustive Search

Elisheva’s quest for justice has been relentless:

- International Appeals: She has filed reports with police in Romania and the UK.
- Physical Search: In 2019, her desperation led her to travel as far as Africa following leads.
- Local Efforts: In Manchester and Liverpool, she has spent years distributing posters and knocking on doors, asking strangers for any sign of her son.

For years, Elisheva suffered in silence, haunted by the trauma of past abuse and the fear of who to trust. She admits to telling people her children were in Romania simply to protect her remaining family from further scrutiny and pain.

A Plea for Heritage and Healing

The child previous name was Matthew than later by Deedpool changed to Eliyahu he was born on March 19, 2014, in London. Now nearly 12 years old, he has grown up separated from his mother, his siblings, and his Jewish heritage. Elisheva emphasizes that Eliyahu belongs within his community in Manchester, where he can finally learn about his culture and family history.

"Every single day I carry the pain of his absence," she says. "I have sleepless nights... it breaks my heart when my friends' families are complete and mine is missing one abducted child."

How to Help

Elisheva is now formally requesting that the police and the public assist in:

1. Safeguarding: Establishing Eliyahu’s current location and ensuring his welfare.
2. Legal Clarity: Verifying if any lawful authority exists for his continued separation from his mother.
3. Justice: Reaching anyone with information regarding Raoul Ngapa (Santana), Juliette Green, or Juliet Farrell.

If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of the Child please contact the relevant authorities or reach out to the family at 07892804787.

Elisheva Grinberg is seeking the public's help to find her son, Eliyahu Avraham Grinberg, who was taken as an infant 11 years ago by his father, Raoul Ngapa (alias Raoul Santana). The child is not legally in his father’s custody, and Elisheva—the sole legal guardian—is demanding his safe return to his Jewish family in Manchester after a decade of searching.
