As a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys, I have watched with growing frustration and disappointment as Jerry Jones, in his role as General Manager, has made a series of poor decisions that have negatively impacted our beloved team. His insistence on maintaining total control has prevented him from hiring true professionals who could guide the team to success.

Jones's ego even led to the departure of Jimmy Johnson, arguably one of the best coaches we've ever had. This narcissistic leadership style has cost us fans dearly - we are the ones who fund this franchise through our unwavering support and yet we are repeatedly let down.

Despite being named "the most valuable franchise" in NFL by Forbes in 2020, our team struggles to win playoff games - an unfortunate reality that feels like losing against a cardboard box. The time for change is now.

Jerry Jones must step down from his position as GM and allow competent professionals to lead. We deserve better than years of fandom abuse; we deserve a team that matches its value with performance on the field.
