We firmly believe that 'Never again' should denote an all-inclusive sentiment, rather than being exclusive to specific groups; for all lives should matter, including the Palestinians.
Our concern extends beyond our home borders - we are globally interconnected, after all, and the repercussions of such violent conflicts affect millions of people, of all races, beliefs, and faiths. Families worldwide are left in fear, questioning whether their governments would defend them if the need arises. In a world where we can witness these tragedies from the comfort of our homes, we find it increasingly difficult to uphold respect for governments that stand by idly.
Israel's war against Palestine has to cease urgently. We call for an immediate stop to indiscriminate bombings, the inhuman use of Palestinians as human shields, and the unlawful settling of Israelis in Palestine/Gaza. The release of IDF body cam footage is paramount to ensure full-scale, transparent investigations. The Palestinians must be allowed to live freely and democratically, without any unwarranted intervention. It's time the Israeli government recognizes a two-state solution, allowing Palestinians their rightful place on global platforms.
