Recent reporting has revealed that members of extremist groups, including neo-Nazi “active clubs,” have gathered at a private compound in Virginia for organized combat training and networking events.

These events reportedly involve individuals from multiple states — including some who have worked as teachers, first responders, or in other roles connected to public trust. Experts have warned that these groups may be building coordinated networks that pose a potential threat to public safety.

This raises urgent questions: How are these gatherings being monitored? Are existing laws being enforced? And are communities being adequately protected?

We are calling on the U.S. Department of Justice, the FBI, and Virginia state officials to investigate these activities, determine whether any laws are being broken, and ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect the public.
