As a concerned US citizen, I am deeply disturbed by the continued human rights violations in the Middle East, particularly the January 11th, 2024 bombing of Yemen over 60 times in 24 hours by Biden without congressional approval, violating Article 1 of the Constitution. As a citizen of the US, my tax dollars are funding bombings that result in the loss of innocent lives, including children. The fuel used by military planes not only contributes to environmental degradation but also threatens our future sustainability. The displacement of civilians and children is another heartbreaking consequence, especially when these displaced individuals are denied refuge by the very country responsible for their predicament. 

This act may very well stoke the fires of global politics and launch the world into another World War. The morning of January 12th, 2024, 5 million Yemeni people gathered in the capital of Yemen, Sana'a and chanted, "We don't care. We don't care. Make it a major World War." Fear mongering tactics no longer work and the world is watching, knowing they may be murdered for standing against American Aggression.

President Biden promised an end to endless wars during his campaign (specifically on January 6th, 2020 and February 7th, 2020), yet under his administration, we have seen a continuation of military actions that perpetuate violence and suffering. Biden campaigned on outcry of Trump's Unconstitutional acts as President, and now he has committed the same crimes. Everyone should be held do the same standards of the Constitution. 

This is not what we voted for or what we stand for as a nation committed to upholding human rights and peace worldwide. It's time to hold our leaders accountable for their actions.

We call upon Congress to impeach President Biden on grounds of initiating unauthorized military action against Yemen without Congressional approval as per War Powers Resolution Act 1973. This petition seeks justice not just for those directly affected in Yemen and other Middle Eastern Countries, but also serves as a plea on behalf of all Americans who believe that our resources should be used towards fostering peace rather than fuelling conflict.

We especially call upon Democrats who supported Biden during his campaign because of his calls for peace in the Middle East. If there was outrage over Trump's Unconstitutional Acts, then Biden must be held accountable and it is your duty to do so regardless of party lines.
