Demand Immediate Termination of Superintendent Monty Noblitt for Ignoring School Bullying

Demand Immediate Termination of Superintendent Monty Noblitt for Ignoring School Bullying
The Issue
For everyone who's ever been bullied, for everyone who's ever watched a loved one suffer, our stories matter. I have my own personal narrative of torment from 8th grade to my sophomore year, that led me to complete school online due to the extreme conditions. Today, I share this to give you an insight into what many others are experiencing. This is a petition for Aubreigh Wyatt, a 13-year-old girl who has suffered relentless bullying from a group of girls, whose numbers included the daughter of Monty Noblitt, the superintendent of her school. Despite being in a position of power and influence, Mr. Noblitt failed to act, he ignored the pleas and complaints that signaled Aubreigh's suffering.
Bullying is never okay. No child, no person, should wake up with the aching reality of not wanting to take on the day, feeling imprisoned by fear and humiliation. Schools should be safe spaces for children to learn and grow, not a terrifying environment that threatens their mental health. According to the National Center for Educational Statistics, about 20% of students ages 12-18 experienced bullying nationwide in 2017.
It is intolerable to let those, who have a clear responsibility to act, stay silent and noncommittal in the face of such torment. The inaction of Superintendent Monty Noblitt, thus, must not be suffered. This is our call, our demand for the immediate termination of his position. We demand justice for Aubreigh Wyatt, and we demand that those responsible face the consequences of their inaction.
We want to make a clear statement that turning a blind eye to bullying is unacceptable, and impacts lives irreversibly. Please sign this petition to bring justice not only for Aubreigh, but for all those silenced because of systemic negligence. Raise your voice against failing authorities like Monty Noblitt and sign the petition now.
