Demand Immediate Review and Revocation of Probation for Convicted Child Abuser Aleesha An
The Issue
To the Shasta County District Attorney’s Office, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (Probation/Parole Division), and the Shasta County Superior Court:
We, the undersigned concerned citizens and members of the community, respectfully demand an immediate investigation into active probation violations, protective order breaches, and criminal threats made by Aleesha Ann Allen, who was previously convicted of felony child abuse in Shasta County. We urge the court and law enforcement to immediately revoke her release status and return her to custody to ensure the safety of the minor child.
In early 2025, Aleesha Ann Allen (22, of City of Shasta Lake) was arrested and subsequently pled no contest to felony child abuse charges following an incident where an infant in her care suffered severe, visible facial trauma, described by witnesses as consistent with a physical strike. She was sentenced to one year in jail followed by formal probation, which included strict court-ordered restrictions regarding contact with the minor victim.
Over the past year, documentation and photographic evidence have been compiled demonstrating that Aleesha Ann Allen has repeatedly bypassed supervision requirements and has been observed alone in direct contact with the infant victim.
On or about May 23, 2026, a recorded audio communication was transmitted via social media (utilizing a Snapchat account under the name Naomi Melendez) directed at a member of the community. In this recording, Aleesha Ann Allen explicitly admitted to the physical abuse of her child, stating, "I did put my hands on my son, but I love my son," immediately followed by a direct physical threat to a pregnant woman: "So imagine what I would do to you."
The evidence indicates a flagrant disregard for court-ordered probation terms, ongoing unauthorized access to a vulnerable child, and an escalation into making violent threats against community members. We respectfully demand that the Shasta County District Attorney and Probation Department take the following immediate actions:
Issue an immediate warrant for the arrest of Aleesha Ann Allen based on clear violations of her sentencing terms and protective orders.
Formally investigate and file charges regarding the dynamic electronic threats sent on May 23, 2026.
Ensure that Child Protective Services and local law enforcement execute immediate emergency protective measures to remove the child from any potential contact with the offender.
