Personal stories of neglect, harm, and mistreatment have been rampant in our local nursing home under the watch of State Representative Amy Wilson Neighbors. On many occasions, she has turned a blind eye to serious issues directly impacting the vulnerable population residing within these facilities. Her conduct allows for potentially dangerous individuals to maintain their positions, even as serious wrongdoings are brought to light.

Nurse aides have reportedly been allowed to smother residents and continue in their roles with certification intact. Moreover, these aides have been given the freedom to abandon their posts at the nursing home to engage in personal activities, leaving our community's beloved elders without the care they need and deserve. In one shocking instance, an aide reportedly brought methamphetamine into the facility and faced no charges, exposing residents directly to illicit substances and potential harm.

Even more disturbingly, some individuals in the local area have been treated with disregard for their individual needs, likened to "lab rats." An environment that should be of care, respect, and dignity is compromised, affecting the quality of life for those who reside there.

These actions not only pose an immediate threat to the wellbeing of the residents, but they're a gross breach of trust, representing neglect of duties by State Representative Wilson Neighbors.
