As someone deeply affected, alongside countless silent victims of what many perceive as a progressively dictatorial governance, I am calling upon every citizen of Gibraltar who feels overlooked, ignored, and disrespected to join this fight for our dignity and democratic rights. This petition is not about me, it is about us, those who are experiencing the heavy hand of our Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo.

Under the guise of the Gibraltar Socialist Labour Party (GLSP), Fabian Picardo’s tenure has been marked by actions and policy changes that raise serious concerns. Perhaps even more worrying is the emerging climate of fear and anguish that is not conducive to mental health. In Gibraltar, a region where mental health services already face steep challenges, this is a blow we cannot afford.

Quality healthcare services are a basic human right, not a privilege. But our own prime minister, someone who should protect these rights, seems to be jeopardizing it. Not only does this need urgent addressing, but it also underscores the urgency for more balanced, compassionate leadership.

Our call is clear. We demand immediate electoral redress to pave the path for the removal of GLSP from power. We demand not just an end to Fabian Picardo's reign, but also the beginning of a brighter, fairer future for all Gibraltarians. 

Let us ensure that the leaders we put in power understand the gravity of their positions and the massive responsibility they bear. Today, we take a stand. This call to action is not just for us but for our children and generations yet to come. Together, we can create an enduring change for a stronger Gibraltar.
