As residents of Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada, we have been living with a blight on our city for far too long. The former Bathurst Mill site has been left stripped of precious metals and abandoned by its previous owners. This has resulted in an unsafe environmental property that poses a risk to our community and the surrounding areas. Despite numerous promises from all levels of government over the years to address this issue, no action has been taken.

This situation is not just an eyesore ; it's a health and safety hazard. The abandoned mill site is causing a negative effect on the overall image of the city.  We deserve better than broken promises we deserve immediate action.

We are calling on all levels of government - local, provincial, and federal - to fulfill their commitments and immediately begin cleanup efforts at the former Bathurst Mill site. It's time for us to reclaim this land for safer use or green space that can be enjoyed by everyone in our community.
