My name is Ashley and I live with my family at 1669 Grand Ave, Bronx NY 10453, . We are currently enduring unbearable living conditions due to the presence of mold, lead and a rodent infestation in our home. This situation has not only caused us significant inconvenience but also poses a serious threat to our health.

We have had to stay at relatives' homes from time to time as the conditions in our apartment are so dire. Many of our personal belongings have been damaged beyond repair due to these issues and we've been forced to throw them away. 

The most distressing part is that my family and I keep feeling ill because of these unhealthy conditions. My four-year-old son Logan King has been hospitalized multiple times due to shortness of breath caused by inhaling black mold.

According to the New York City Department of Health, exposure to mold can cause health problems such as allergic reactions or asthma attacks in people who are allergic. Lead poisoning can cause serious harm especially in children under six years old including learning difficulties and behavior problems (NYC Health).

This petition aims at drawing attention towards this urgent issue affecting not just us but potentially many other families living under similar circumstances. We demand immediate action from local authorities for inspection, remediation and if necessary relocation services for affected families residing at this address.
