Demand Full Prosecution for Christopher Maxwell
The Issue
As an integral part of the Bark Brew & Tattoo organization, our mission is close to our hearts. We work tirelessly to end the unjust stigma attached to Bully breed dogs and educate the public about responsible dog ownership. However, our passion for justice extends beyond the welfare of animals and onto our fellow human beings.
It is from this place of concern that the issue of Christopher Maxwell becomes pertinent. It is essential that he is charged and serves to the fullest extent the law allows. This isn't just about holding one offender accountable; it's about setting a standard for justice in our community.
In a community where we strive to make our charity fundraising events not just enjoyable but representatives of positive societal change, we demand justice in this case. We, as an organization, feel the personal impact that failures in the justice system can bring, and we urge others to join us in insisting that every individual is held accountable for their actions.
Let's ensure that Christopher Maxwell faces the consequences of his actions. It's about setting a precedent for our community and cementing the understanding that everyone is subject to the same laws and consequences.
Please sign this petition to demand full prosecution for Christopher Maxwell.
"Maxwell, according to the police, neglected a female pitbull puppy for days without food and water before bringing it to a parking lot in Albany where Ring cameras caught the despicable act in the early morning hours on February 23rd. According to the police report, "he took the dog, still in the crate, to a parking lot in the area of Fourth Avenue and Franklin Street, poured lighter fluid over the crate and the dog, and set it on fire."
