The Issue

Having personally suffered a grave injury due to the stress resulting from harassment and prejudice at Forsman Farms, Howard Lake plant, I've been compelled to question the company's practices and commitment to worker safety and respect. My experience is not isolated; there have been numerous incidents and accidents affecting other employees, pointing to a systemic issue that disrupts not only worker well-being but also workplace morale.

At the core, these incidents appear to stem from a combination of insufficient training, poor evaluation procedures, and the hiring of individuals without proper qualifications or understanding of the critical responsibilities required. Such oversights not only compromise the safety of all employees but perpetuate a cycle of discrimination and inequality, which has no place in any modern workplace.

Forsman Farms has a responsibility to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for its workers—free from harassment and rooted in mutual respect regardless of race or background. We call upon the management at Forsman Farms to take immediate action:

1. Implement comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion training for all employees, with a focus on anti-racism and respect in the workplace.

2. Conduct a thorough review and overhaul of hiring practices to ensure all employees are appropriately qualified and understand their roles' responsibilities.

3. Establish a clear and accessible process for reporting harassment or discrimination without fear of retaliation, and guarantee swift and fair investigations of all complaints.

These steps are crucial to foster a workplace culture where all employees feel safe, valued, and treated with dignity.

I urge all concerned individuals to support this cause and hold Forsman Farms accountable. By signing this petition, we can amplify our voices to advocate for a safer and more equitable workplace at the Howard Lake plant. Together, we can drive change and uphold the standards of decency and respect that every worker deserves. Please sign and help make Forsman Farms a better place for everyone.
