Demand for Public Humiliation as Justice Against Rapists

The Issue

I myself, a woman living in fear, write this petition in a society where rape victims often struggle for justice. The constant threat and fear that comes with being a woman in such a society is unimaginable. As a women, we are always running a parallel scenario in our head, running permutation and combination calculating the probability of something exactly like that happening to us! Rape is not only a crime against a person, it is a crime against humanity, meant to dehumanize and terrorize.  This is the new India—a nation where rape is becoming normalized...

Currently, the justice system often fails to deter these horrifying crimes. Simple putting those psychopaths, those monsters in prison won't give justice to neither her nor her parents and nor to us [THE WOMEN'S]. Capital punishment, as such, seems to make little difference. However, we propose an alternative form of punishment, one that aligns with the pain and suffering endured by the victims.

Public humiliation has been historically used as a means to deter criminal behavior, and we seek to employ this punishment once again. We suggest the public mutilation of the criminal's sexual organ, the tool by which they committed this unthinkable crime. This heinous action should echo the savagery of their crimes preventing those from committing something horrifying like this again!

Shame is a deeply rooted human emotion, often more powerful than the fear of legal consequences. Publicly shaming an individual can lead to a severe psychological impact, making them and others think twice before engaging in this criminal behavior.

This is the only way to STOP RAPE, by brutally taking actions against those bloody monsters and creating a fear in the eyes of every bloody rapist who did or are going to do a rape. They should be treated as TERRORIST. Only Brutal and strong terrifying act can stop them from doing these anymore.

The year 2023 witnessed 95+ rape cases of women and girls in India daily, according to the National Crime Record Bureau. That's one rape every 3.96 hours, a statistic that is horrifying and unacceptable. These numbers don't even account for the countless incidents that go unreported.

We call on reform to ensure that the punishment for rape becomes more severe, comparable to the severity of the crime committed. Our demand for public humiliation is not out of a desire for cruelty, but out of necessity to create a society that is safer for women and girls.

For justice to be truly served, it is only fair that those who inflict pain are made to feel a comparable amount of suffering. We believe that our proposed method of punishment can bring about the change we desperately need. INJUSTICE ANYWHERE IS A THREAT TO JUSTICE EVERYWHERE! Sign this petition to join our mission for a safer, fairer society.]

You need to unite and raise voice against this barbarism because how you and your sister or daughter is treated by such goons in future depends on how you respond today.

The audacity of people and Lawlessness has reached peak levels in India where anyone knows that they can Abuse, Threaten, Assault, Rape or Murder a woman without any consequences.

They know that people will never get United to fight against them.

They know that they will never be punished.

They know that the situation is not going to change.

They know that nothing is going to change in India because some powerful leader or politician will come and rescue them

They know that some psychopaths can be bribed, falsely labeled as rapists, and then allowed to escape while fooling everyone. And the law won't be able to do anything about it.

They know that people are still going to criticize the women that it's her fault that the rape happen, because MEN WILL BE MEN

  • She must have asked for it
  • She must not go to clubs and bar
  • She must be wearing short dresses
  • She should not go anywhere alone and late in the night
  • She msut be drinking
  • She had a questionable character
  • She must not be very friendly with strangers and male

They know that this rape and murder will be forgotten in a few days.

As PM Narendra Modi Ji rightly said, we must instill fear of democracy in the minds of these goons so that they shudder even to think about committing such a crime.

Enough is Enough: It’s Time to Stand Up for Our Fundamental Rights

  1. Right to Life and Personal Liberty (Article 21): How can we talk about the "right to life" when women are being stripped of this very right in the most barbaric ways? The right to live with dignity, to feel safe in our own country, our own workplace, our own home, our own school our own colleges is a mockery if the law doesn’t step up and act with the severity that these crimes deserve. Every woman has the right to feel secure in her own skin, yet our lives are constantly under threat.
  2.  Right to Equality (Article 14): Equality? Really? How equal do we feel when our bodies are violated and our souls crushed, only for the system to drag its feet? This right should mean that every woman’s safety is just as important as any other citizen's, but instead, we’re left to fend for ourselves in a society that too often turns a blind eye.
  3. Right to Protection from Exploitation (Article 23): We’re supposed to be protected from exploitation, but where is that protection when women are exploited in the most horrific ways? If the law can’t protect us from such heinous acts, then what good is this right? The exploitation of women’s bodies should meet with the harshest of consequences, yet we’re forced to question whether justice will ever truly be served.
  4. Right to Freedom of Expression (Article 19): Women are supposed to have the right to express themselves, to live freely and without fear. But what good is this freedom when we are silenced by violence and fear? The freedom to walk the streets, to live our lives without being preyed upon—this isn’t just a right, it’s a necessity, and it’s high time the law treats it as such.
  5. Right to Constitutional Remedies (Article 32): The right to seek justice is supposed to be our shield, but what happens when this shield fails? When justice is delayed, denied, or watered down, it’s not just an injustice to one woman—it’s an affront to every woman in this country. We demand that the law acts swiftly and without mercy when it comes to crimes like rape, because we have a right to justice that cannot be compromised.

These rights are not privileges; they are non-negotiable. Yet every time a woman is raped, these rights are violated in the most grotesque manner. It’s time for the law to stop paying lip service and start delivering real, tangible justice. We need action—now. No more waiting, no more excuses. Our rights, our safety, and our dignity are at stake.

I request each and every one to Stand with us and support! Then only we can bring the change we want for our future.

Thank you
