Demand for Investigation and Deportation of Ali Tramshloo and Family from Canada

Demand for Investigation and Deportation of Ali Tramshloo and Family from Canada
The Issue
To:
The Honorable Marc Miller, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA)
The Honorable Lena Metlege Diab, Member of Parliament for Halifax West
We, the undersigned, call on the Government of Canada to immediately investigate the residency status and source of wealth of Ali Tramshloo, his wife Razieh Ghalb-Nezhad, and their sons, Mohammad Tramshloo and Milad Tramshloo.
Reason for Petition:
Mr. Ali Tramshloo is a former high-ranking official of the Iranian regime, having served as a Deputy to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad during his tenure at the Tehran Municipality. Furthermore, there are credible reports linking Mr. Tramshloo to Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, the current Chief Justice of Iran who is under international sanctions for gross human rights violations. Mr. Tramshloo has been described as a financial conduit (money handler) for high-level officials within the Iranian judiciary.
Key Concerns for Canadian Authorities:
1. Money Laundering & Sanction Circumvention: It is highly suspected that the assets used by the Tramshloo family to establish residency in Canada are derived from state-level corruption and the embezzlement of public funds in Iran.
2. National Security: Canada should not be a safe haven for those who have served as the "treasury" for human rights violators and sanctioned individuals of the Islamic Republic.
3. Inadmissibility: Under the Special Economic Measures (Iran) Regulations, individuals who have significantly contributed to or profited from the regime's corruption should be found inadmissible to Canada.
Our Demand:
We urge the IRCC and CBSA to freeze the assets of the Tramshloo family and initiate a formal review of their immigration files. Those who have empowered a repressive regime must not be allowed to enjoy the safety and freedom of Canada using the stolen wealth of the Iranian people.
No Safe Haven for Regime Enablers!
