Appreciation:
Thanks to your incredible support, the petition calling for federal investigation into the case of Daisy Alford (my elderly, disabled mother) — and Georgia’s systemic failures that endanger elderly and disabled individuals — has now surpassed 1,500 signatures.
Your voices, social media shares, Change.org promotions, and words of encouragement are powering this grassroots campaign forward. We’re on track to reach the next milestone: 2,500 signatures.
Every voice matters. Every signature counts. Please continue sharing the petition and updates. Your support is making a real difference.
Still Awaiting Responses from Georgia’s Elected Officials:
We hope to receive all official responses within the next 30 days. No matter where you stand politically, the abuse and endangerment of elderly and disabled individuals is a human issue that demands accountability from all elected officials.
In this fight for justice, transparency absolutely matters. Once all responses have been received from the listed Decision Makers, we will update supporters accordingly.
FBI Atlanta Office:
Formal complaints have been submitted to the FBI Atlanta Field Office, addressed to Paul Brown, Special Agent in Charge. It is vital that federal authorities are officially notified when elderly and disabled individuals face prolonged harm, especially when that harm aligns with serious, prosecutable federal crimes.
Outreach to Investigative Journalists:
Outreach to investigative journalists is ongoing. Georgia’s failure to protect elderly and disabled residents demands national attention, public discussion and legal scrutiny.
The unjust situation in Paulding County must never become the blueprint for how elderly and disabled people are treated — in Georgia or anywhere in the United States.
Grassroots Getting It Done:
Thank you for believing that elderly and disabled people deserve to live in peace, safety and dignity — no matter who they are or where they reside. #Justice4DaisyAlford
