This petition has been initiated to bring about a necessary change – fighting for better pay, rewards, and treatment for traveling consultants engaged in Healthcare IT firms across the United States. Our request is simple yet significant. Demanding a minimum pay of $65.00 per hour, we implore these multi-million-dollar establishments to value the expertise and commitment these consultants bring to the table. We further request renegotiation of contracts guaranteeing all traveling consultants a full 2 weeks with no tapers.
Beyond fair pay and leave, consultants deserve benefits that truly cater to their work scenario. This includes arranging lodging, car rental, hotel points & rewards specifically granted to traveling consultants who stay in various hotel chains nationwide. We also argue for state paid per diems, eliminating financial concerns associated with working in diverse regions across the country.
We are also requesting that any carpools needed on projects will be limited to no more than two people per vehicle.
Furthermore, we yearn for better, professional attire options that go beyond extrusive uniforms like the blue smock-like vests and big lanyards.
Given the fact that the labor productivity in the healthcare industry has grown by 0.7% yearly (source: Bureau of Labor Statistics), it's only fair for these firms to recognize the contributions of their traveling consultants and compensate them accordingly.
